Meeting Notes & Pics, Construction Master Plan
Hi everyone!
We had our usual Sunday meeting at Bedlam last night, with the oh-so-yummy addition of treats. I'll try to give a description of what we covered, but please please if I omit anything, send comments and help me fill in the gaps.
Master Plan:
**Treats are now a crucial part of our project!
Today (Monday 12/1): Thanks to Alicia for making the heroic initial move of our stuff from the basement of the Soap Factory!! This will secure a space for us on the main level, where the construction will take place.
Thursday 12/4:
Finish moving our stuff from the basement up to the main-level. Wipe down, sort, measure & perform inventory of supplies. Get a list of tools available for use at the Soap Factory. Create shopping list for additional materials. Create list of tools that we'll need to buy & borrow.
People able to attend:
Lesley, Jaime, Matt, Andrea, Emily, Alicia
**NOTE: We will have 2 shifts on Saturday and Sunday at 10-1 and 1-4. For future work dates, we'll handle the scheduling with a simple, old-school sign-up sheet at the Soap Factory. For this weekend, please email Jaime or Lesley to let us know which shifts you can make it to. We think about 4-5 people per shift is necessary.
Saturday 12/6:
The first step of the construction will be to build the base of the shanty. The base will consist of 3 separate pieces. See pics for Emily's awesome model.
If we need any materials for this stage of construction, we'll try to get them right away on Saturday morning.

Sunday 12/7:
Continue with the construction of the base. If finished, begin construction on walls.
