what are the content/aesthetic benefits to having a general blog discussion show up on the main mapping page? As it stands, i feel it takes away from the coolness and directness of the other content on the page. Would it be possible to make the general blog entries a separate page? I understand the benefit of it, i think: it is a space for anyone to add comments, not just mappers or people signed up into a group, correct? Anyway, i'm curious about the technical possibility of moving it, as well as the pros and cons of such a move. Perhaps even a slight shift of text size or boxed-area, so that the blog entries do not carry as much weight as the other parts of the page...?
